I’ve made my own color palette for Spring. These feel really exciting to me at the moment.

Piggybacking Saturday’s post… I’ve been searching everywhere for sites that explain the psychology behind color trends for each season. I have a strong curiosity about why we are drawn to certain colors at certain times. I’ve been noticing this intense red/pink color, and although I know it is just a trend, I am so inspired by it – it feels fresh and powerful. Knowing that this color is popular right now, not only because it is pervasive in stores but because it evokes a feeling in the collective conscious is so interesting… how does one color occur to a whole community as evocative at a specific point in time?
